Ive been doing alot of grass running, Not being able to spike up and sprint kills any chance of running fast at a meet. I agree, 100 meter training is a beast

I would cut out the grass running. Running on soft surfaces aggravates achilles tendinopathy. Mine comes back whenever I run on grass, especially soft grass. If I remember correctly, another member (Sharmer) has reported this here as well, and there’s a study showing that people who run on sand are ten times more likely to suffer from achilles tendinopathy than people who run on concrete.

For my 2010 outdoor prep I had some hamstring issues that was lagging... I decide to have Mark Guthrie who was the sprint coach at Wisconsin to write me some workouts. All of the running was done in trainers and I think it actually prep me well for the summer outdoor season. Def didn't set me back....

Got another race in. Ran my usual time this season. For some reason i felt lethargic during before and during the race. I didnt do shit with the blocks. I also feel like I cant get my hips up/tall during my max-v like I used to in the past.

    the work continues.
