    Do you decrease the intensity (load) on weights after running a season best? Those weights looks easy for you.

    I wasn't able to test my 30 on Tuesday, I've developed some shin splints, likely from too much tempo, so did hills instead. Hopefully by the weekend I'll be ready to test. It would be nice to get some numbers before 16 weeks of indoor.

    Upcoming block:

    Sunday: Flying 20's with 30-40m accel zone, depth jumps 18-30in, Tb wts (pc, squats, bp, aux work)

    Tuesday: Timed 30's and throws

    Thursday: Timed 70's, depth jumps 18-30in, Tb wts (pc, snatch dl, db rev lunge, bp, aux work)

    Not many changes this block - things will keep progressing. The 55-60m sprints will move to fast 70's the short flies will move to full approach flies with a 30-40m accel zone, and the accel day will stay short and quick. Still have a ton of work to do if I want to run fast for my age.

    Loads: speed 1770m/jumps84/throws30

    Saturday:
    Warmup S
    6 finish drills 30m accel zone/20m fly
    1a: Power clean 4x2x80% of 1rm
    1b: Depth jumps 4x5x18in
    Back squat 2x3 385
    Bench press 3x3x80% of 3rm
    Rdl 2x12 195
    2a: Nautilus glute drive 2x10 455
    2b: Db chest support row 2x12 50

    This week I am doing 580m of sprint work, 36 jumps, and 10 throws. I decided to do 6 finish drills because the first couple reps was not great, and I needed to feel "ok" with the sprint session. I have timed runs on Monday and Wednesday depending how the runs go I may start Charlie 10-day emergency deload on Thursday to help bring my legs back. Overall, the runs felt avg and the weights felt good. Not more to say - relax and watch some college football.

    I need a bounce back session on Monday and Wednesday!!!! I am a very routine type of person and I had to run some errands before heading to the track and I had to stop by the gas station. Small things but it threw me off my normal routine. I hate excuses, I’ll bounce back on Monday.
