This four-week block is about conditioning the body and trying to regain some basic general fitness to keep myself from dying once I start my 8-week gpp in May. This was the first running session since mid-December 2020. I'm not expecting anything fast until around August and that will give me 3 months of fast sprinting before going into maintenance mode with the speed because of colder temps. Hopefully I can have a full indoor season which allows me to run the 60m every weekend and the 200 every other weekend these races will be the primary stimulus over winter. Overall, it wasn't a bad first day - like always I will monitor the injuries over the next 48-72hrs.
