So impressive to go 6.44 twice in a row while shutting it down. Let's just hope that he hasn't pulled a "Gatlin" and doesn't go into the final in a state of hyper tonus.

The advantage, of course, is that this is the 60m and not the 100m so the leeway for going harder in the rounds is greater and less of damaging factor then when done in the 100m. That said, we'll see what happens.

I've always been a huge Asafa fan so it's great to see him in this type of form regardless of what happens in the final.

well no bolt, he appears to be in full relaxation, dont make a mistake and he should be good.

Congratulations to Trayvon, what a shame that Powell didn't get that world title that has eluded him and it seems it is due to what I thought might happen regarding my initial post.

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who remembers when Charlie said about Asafa in a similar situation outdoors...

But Bromell ran 6.54/9.84 last year (and, yes, I want to repeat my position about no coaching change). If you throw in a 6.47, how far into 9.7x does that put him?

Bromell's RT was 1.21 (yes, quicker than Ben and Mo). I'd love to know what his 10m split was. It was obviously a blazing start.
