    Road to Sochi 2014

    Hello all,

    I've held a journal on here before (Cheetah's Journal) but it's time to make a fresh start with a new goal: Sochi 2014 winter olympics.

    I completed a bobsleigh combine a couple of weeks ago:

    Height: 185/6'1''
    Weight: 83k 183lbs

    30m - 3.51
    15-45m - 2.95
    Standing Long Jump - 3.33m

    Full Squat - 180k
    Bench Press - 130k (140k is my PR)

    I attended push training at the GB push track last weekend. I posted 3.55 15-45 without a 'hit'. This is the fastest of the development squad.

    There are some good athlete's in the development squad, including Fasuba who's been talked about a lot on this site.

    Tightness/doms in the hip flexors and groins made the last training day difficult. I've used EMS pulses and swimming to try and shift this. Next push training is on the 16th of June. I'll see my coach tomorrow and get some therapy before training.

    Perhaps I am wrong, but Fasuba appears in this video, no? Last news I had about him was that he had joined the army, is this correct? Anyway, your journal sounds interesting! Keep us updated then!

    He is in the navy, he says he is still working with Pierre. Thoroughly nice guy!! He is in the helmet at 0.22, his wife and young child are watching also.
