    I usually do for GH spike:
    Bike ;8 x 30secs max rpm, 90 secs rec at a medium resistance on the bike.

    Cheers for the feedback, My best bet is to just try an option and go with it, leaning towards speed/ weights on the Monday/Thursday and Low intensity tempo on the other days with a HIIT session on...

    Yeah, I agree. His High school training appears to be very much long to short so he has exceptional natural speed. It will be interesting to see which college he goes to and how he performs on a well...

    Yes, I realised that as well, I suppose he was referring to he doesn't do any slow jogging or stretching, static or dynamic of any sorts. They also don't do any ab work.

    I have been running for about 3 mths now after 2 yrs out with achilles tendinopathy. What has helped me is very heavy ( 2 x bodyweight) isometrics, 6 x 45sec hold on the leg press machine every day....
