Re: First outdoor meet of the year.

Looking at this quick my thoughts are:
    - she actually doesn't look warmed up that well...as you've said
    - taking receiving the baton at that speed causes her to accel hard in an upright position...

    Re: Philly Eagles New Outlook

Interesting article. I still don't understand how teams incorporate all the omegawavey items. So if a guy is tired some day, they just sit him out of practice because the omegawave says so? I...

Re: When is a good sprint spike bad for an athlete

Yeah I've always felt that shoes like the JA which has a negative heel force you to stay on your toes. I've found that good for 100/200 in general. However if you get fatigued when running in then...

Re: When is a good sprint spike bad for an athlete

One would think that it couldn't be the shoes... our 400m girls almost exclusively wear Nike JA w/o issue.

However I have seen a few girls switch from flatter shoes such as Asics cyber jump to...

  13. Re: Hannah Cunliffe makes front page Seattle Times, and video

Interesting. I don't think her not running in HS meets is going to matter a whole lot in getting recruited. No one has any secret info on who's after here (universities)? :D
  14. Re: Hannah Cunliffe makes front page Seattle Times, and video

She's in 11th grade now? Did she pick a university yet?
  15. Re: 2013 NCAA Champs - Most competitive collegiate men's 100m ever!

Wind readings are and always have been a joke. The depth of talent in the NCAA is devastating these days especially in sprints.
  16. Re: 2013 NCAA Champs - Most competitive collegiate men's 100m ever!

Not to mention the women. A bunch of 10.9x-11.0x. You basically need to destroy the A standard to make finals.

Re: Massage techniques similar to Waldemar's

I just meant that there seem to be many similarities. Waldemar is hard to get a hold of so if you want to learn that style of therapy, Trager is the keyword I would gravitate to.
