    I think you could look at the risk/reward of doing the squat. Is the reward of doing the squat worth the risk of being sore when sprinting. If squatting is your priority then keep it up, if sprinting...

    I usually do for GH spike:
    Bike ;8 x 30secs max rpm, 90 secs rec at a medium resistance on the bike.
