I got in 4 speed days last week. I was off for spring break and decided to make the most of it. Got it in mon wed and fri with tues tempo and thursday complete rest.
Mon was short speed and I felt great, wed spec end 2x200 felt decent and fri speed end with 120's which was also decent. THe sunday workout was a repeat of monday 4x30, 3x60...body felt good, times were slow as fuck...cns was done.
This week
mon off
tuesday tempo- 12x100, upper body
wed- 2x200, 1x100. ran the 200s in my trainers cause I was on that hard ass mondo track. ran 28-27. Spiked up for the 100 and ran 11.2. Achilles was on fire after.
weights- rev lunge deficit 2x8, db swing 4x6
thursday- was fried. Did about 8x100 in a slow trot and hurdle mobility work after.
Friday- felt much better 2x30 bs, 3x120.
all the runs felt real good. no weights
4/7 saturday
upper body
pool tempo 10x30sec rest, 15.
the meet on next week got cancelled, so hopefully I can find a replacement, if not, wont run until the end of april
Took sunday off
4/9- blocks 4x30 3x60
weight room 6x60,55,50,50,55,60% speed squats, 4x6 rdl
4/10 upper body and pool workout. 10x30sec on 20 off
4/11- ran damn near 18x100 with my students at about tempo pace. Stil went to the practice after. just did 3x200 in flats.
4/12 therapy off
