    felt heavy and slow during the runs. Overall runs were ok, nothing special.

    What did you expect? You haven't done much to prepare for the longer runs - your acceleration still isn't in place. You can also do a little more volume since the intensity of the runs isn't there yet. I would have started at 250 > 200 > 150 > 120's (all runs acc for 30m then maintain).

    1/11 complete rest
    1/12 am bike/abs
    pm tempo got rained out. rode bike for 15 mins and upper body. bench and back and abs.
    1/13
    blocks-4x10, 3x30, 3x60
    weights- bul split sq 4x6, rdl 4x8, back ext 3x15
    session felt decent. Achilles and foot was bothering me, I have to be careful with it. Last rep felt very fast tho.

    1/14
    mile walk with weight vest
    hurdle mob drills, push ups, stretch

    glutes and hams were a lil sore. felt better after

    Ill probably save my spike up days for block work and pure speed days. Spikes do a number on my achilles.

    Did this workout based off going to a meet saturday. Ended up not going because of the weather. Didnt feel like driving 4 hours to run one race in the cold.

    upper body gym

    1/21
    blocks
    4x10, 3x30, 2x60
    felt great today. was going to do 3x60 but the second 60 felt super fast. Decided not to push it.
    gym- 4x5 bul split sq
    3x6 rdl

    Might try and hit a meet in orlando this sunday. All depending on how cold it will be. First race would be 830 am

    That's crazy a state like FL would have meets at 830am in the morning unless it was for little grade school kids. I like racing and probably would still go for that reason, I would use it as a workout 100-200-4x100 and maybe 1x150 post race. Even at 830am you can still gain something from racing..

    THis meet is a all comers. It just happens to be far as fuck from my house. they running all kinds of events, at 830 is the 40. THey have 40,60,100,150. Like I said as long as its not 40 degrees ima run.
